![]() This makes it inconvenient when I want to delete multiple inbox emails at once, because I have to separate the flagged emails first. There is no logical need for them to remain in the inbox, too. However, one complaint is that flagged emails should be automatically removed from the inbox and show ONLY in the “flagged” folder. I also like the clean UI and all the mailbox customization options. I simply select all emails at once and uncheck the ones I want to keep. Having this option in Apple Mail is extremely convenient. The main reason I ditched Gmail is the lack of a “select all” button to delete multiple emails simultaneously - something I consider a must. But I have to say, it’s an improvement over Gmail - at least for me. Some of Apple’s native apps leave much to be desired, so I was dubious when I decided to give Apple Mail a shot. ![]() 5 star bc it def deserves at least 3 stars on average all in all, it’s a solid app… & it’s stock!! i don’t think i’ll ever need another app to manage my emails tbh lol. holding the archive button allows u to delete messages (which u can configure to delete by default if u want in Settings>Mail), holding the Compose Message/New Email icon (or whatever it’s called) allows u to dig into ur drafts folder, swiping down on an email while writing lets u reference other email without closing the one u’re working on. holding some buttons enable more functions. it even comes preconfigured with some pretty useful Smart Mailboxes (which btw just filters out emails). the people around me were in awe when i showed them swipe functions, ways to access & markup emails, & even configuring this app in the app itself & in iPhone settings. maybe if Apple made a get started guide, this app would have a higher rating. i know apple is usually known for ease of use, but this app is easy once u actually understand it. I feel like a lot of people who leaves bad reviews on this app are just beginners at managing emails and don’t want to bother learning this app.
